Specific activities will include learning how to conduct quantitative MRI experiments, develop analysis algorithms and participating in the evaluation of in vitro and in vivo data. Algorithm implementation and innovation will be key targets in areas ranging from RF hardware evaluations to cancer detection pipelines. Through this position, the accepted individual will be exposed to a wide range of MRI research areas with the opportunity to develop a medical imaging focused career or a graduate level research program. Responsibilities * 20% - Explore quantitative imaging methods and assisting in MRI experiments * 20% - Develop analysis algorithm to analyze in vivo and in vitro quantitative data. * 20% - Learn about MRI in cancer and assist in pipeline development of cancer prediction pipelines. * 20% - Assist in data curating and analysis from ongoing studies. * 20% - Report to and interact with the P.I. and other project coinvestigators. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials. Required Qualifications: * BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, other STEM-focused degree which is applicable to MRI technology OR a combination of education (in a related STEM-focused degree which is applicable to MRI technology) and experience to equal four (4) years * Image processing and/or data analysis skills * Experience in programming C++, Matlab and/or Python * Able to communicate clearly, verbally and written Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Artificial Intelligence methods and applications. * Post Baccalaureate Experience in research or engineering disciplines * Evidence of contributions to open-source code (github, Matlab central, etc.) * Fluency working in linux shell and source code version management (e.g. git) How To Apply Applications must be submitted online.
