Job Title: Associate Systems Diagnostics Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Systems Diagnostics Engineer to support our combat vehicle programs by evaluating design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications and recommending improvements where feasible. In this role, you will collaborate closely with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers on programs such as the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), and the recovery vehicle (M88).

Responsibilities

  • Use engineering and scientific principles, logic, and defined procedures to complete tasks under supervision.

  • Perform basic engineering design, development, analysis, experimentation, testing, and product assurance tasks for assigned portions of a project.

  • Ensure tasks meet cost, quality, schedule, and performance requirements.

  • Apply basic engineering design and analytical theory, principles, techniques, and practices to technical projects.

  • Develop and write technical documentation, revise existing documentation, and provide input to technical papers or presentations.

  • Perform basic technical analysis, testing, calculations, and evaluation of results using specialized equipment and computer programs.

  • Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and test results to ensure technical designs comply with engineering standards, military specifications, and product requirements.

  • Develop and maintain effective communication and coordination with team members.

Essential Skills

  • Knowledge of electrical engineering principles.

  • Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts.

  • Proficiency in using specialized equipment and computer programs for technical analysis and testing.

  • Ability to develop and write technical documentation.

  • Capability to analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, and test results.

  • ITAR Compliant

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Entry-level role; relevant knowledge can be from work experience, school work, internships, or self-study.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic environment that involves close interaction with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers. The role includes working with specialized equipment and computer programs to perform technical analysis and testing. The position requires adherence to engineering standards and military specifications to ensure high-quality and compliant technical designs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
