The Senior Technical Writer is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The position researches products, services, technology or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience. Key Responsibilities Responsible for creating and updating policies, procedures, and reference documents used for Bank processes; create job aids; draft letters and forms used for Bank products. Maintain appropriate styles and guidelines to meet documentation guidelines. Manages scheduled updates for procedure documentation, coordinates any process changes through the change control process, and submits changes to the knowledge management system. May provide indirect coaching and review of other documentation across the Bank. Required Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent (2-years). 3-5 years of relevant experience. In-depth understanding of online documentation presentation best practices. Previous technical writing experience. Able to build strong working relationships with all levels of the organization. Strong written communication skills, with previous experience coaching others on style guidelines. Ability to work independently with strong self-initiative and high degree of flexibility. Solid presentation and coaching skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong teamwork orientation. Work effectively under tight time constraints and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Bank experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4-years).
