Medtronic Sr. Principal IT Technologist – Global Commercial Platforms in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Position Description:

Sr. Principal IT Technologist – Global Commercial Platforms for Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. SME (Subject Matter Expert) supporting Medtronic’s Salesforce.com platforms. Provide program management for technical consulting, functional design documentation, design reviews, architectural analysis and potential development activities associated with new requests coming from all business units. Provide thought leadership and architectural guidance on implementation with our key partners, particularly focusing on optimization of Salesforce solutions. Design and configure Salesforce solutions that are secure, scalable and maximize user experience and productivity utilizing Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud/Marketing Cloud, Financial force ERP, CPQ, Mulesoft and Apache Kafka. Implement for Experience Cloud- Partner and Customer Communities portal. Utilize Salesforce AURA Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Java, JavaScript and CSS. Responsible for creating various POC (Proof of Concepts) to explain the proposed solution. Leverage Integration Web Services including SOAP/REST API’s, XML, JSON and OData. Utilize Informatica (ETL Tool) to create, automate, and maintain programs that extract, convert and load data. Set up various CI/CD environment on Copado Governor setup and configure pipelines for multiple Salesforce instances. Responsible for Administration of Bitbucket Repository including Metadata and Branch setup. Configure domain, certificate, and Single Sign-on settings to successfully authenticate users. Leverage knowledge from being a Salesforce certified Application Architect. Position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. #LI-DNI

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical or engineering degree and eight (8) years of experience as an IT Technologist or in Information Technology; or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical or engineering degree and five (5) years of experience as an IT Technologist or in Information Technology. Must possess at least five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Salesforce Cloud products; creating POC (Proof of Concepts); integration of Web Services including SOAP/REST API’s, XML, JSON and OData to create, automate, and maintain programs that extract, convert and load data; and Design and Implementation of CI/CD services for multiple Salesforce instances through Copado and Bitbucket. The following certification is required: Salesforce Certification. Position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States.

Salary:

$141,600 to $212,400 per year
