National Marrow Donor Program Senior Software Engineer (Oracle EBS Developer) - Hybrid/Remote-2400006X in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The individual is responsible for development and support activities in domain with minimal supervision and guidance. A successful candidate will have a solid record of delivering technical solutions under timeline and a proven track record of working efficiently with business, functional, and technical teams. This role's focus is on the development, maintenance, and support of new and existing Oracle EBS functionality. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-HybridCheck out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job EverACCOUNTABILITIES:Leads and participates in all phases of software development life cycle including planning, system design, scope definition, development, maintenance, and support of software solutions:Works with team and independently to formulate system scope, objectives, requirements, and documentation.Write high quality, well-documented and scalable code choosing appropriate approved modern programming languages that suits developmental needs.Proactively communicate and coordinate activities with cross-functional teams, infrastructure, and other members of the Development teamProvides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to new employees and junior developers to enable effective software application development.Leads, directs, and works with team members to develop, maintain and improve critical internal and external applications.Adapts quickly to changing requirements, progresses and evolves goals and strategies, and implements emerging technologies as requiredEnsures all programming, design, production control, data validation and quality control standards are met.Perform analysis of business/functional requirements and determine appropriate technical solutionsDevelop technical design documents to meet business/system requirementsAnalyze, develop, and update technical design documents to meet business and system requirementsParticipate and lead the team design and code review sessionsPerform analysis on system processes to identify and recommend improvementsSupport system and user acceptance testing activities including issue resolutionMaintains, supports and enhances applications including being part of on call rotation for production support which may include 24x7 support when requiredPerform evaluations and reviews that may include evaluation of new and existing software productsCollaborate with teams to review and advise on system architectures from all integrated systemsCollaborate with development and project teams to develop user interface and database requirements for applicationsOther duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Knowledge of enterprise frameworks, systems integrations, software development and testing methodologies is required.Technical expertise/knowledge of development tools and processesStrong knowledge of developing interface and conversion routinesGenerating process documentationKnowledge and experience withPL/SQL, XML, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development customizations and extensionsLinux shell scriptsAPEX developmentSOAP XML, WSDL, XML schema, and XSLRESTful services, JSONSOA gateway deploymentsSOAPUI, XMLSpy, POSTMAN for SOA testing and developmentOpening, managing, and resolving Oracle service requests with Oracle supportDemonstrated knowledge of Oracle suggested standards and approach for delivering EBS solutionsFamiliarity with Oracle suggested standards and approach for delivering EBS work productsTechnical knowledge of some or all of the Oracle EBS applications suite of productsOrder to Cash processes including order creation, fulfillment, and shipping within Order ManagementAdvanced PricingInventory and Bills of MaterialChannel Revenue ManagementAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivablePurchasingApplication Object Library (FND)Ability to:Work within team environment.Manage oneself in a complex, high speed, self-correcting environment obtaining desirable results.Effectively facilitate and lead meetings.Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Be self-motivated.Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectivesMeet time commitments on multiple tasks with quality deliverables in unsupervised environment.Demonstrate excellent oral & written communication skills.Demonstrate strong understanding and experience of application integrations within the Oracle E-Business Suite platform with other systemsSupport and maintain existing EBS extensionsPeriodically perform impact analysis of Oracle product updatesReverse engineer complex modules and enhancements to diagnose root cause of user identified data issuesRead, write, speak and understand English.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor/associate degree in computer science business with an emphasis in management information systems; math or related technical field that required extensive computer programming.
