The Senior Manufacturing Quality Manager - North America is accountable for Manufactured Quality and Logistics Quality (upstream/supplier and downstream) of North America-produced Ag Segment product lines, as well for Manufacturing and Logistics Quality of import products in collaboration with global Quality colleagues. Entire Ag Segment product portfolio within scope of responsibility. This position reports to Senior Director of Ag Quality, and supports VP, NA Ag Manufacturing and Manufacturing Site Leadership with staff communication, training, resource and process support, and objective setting and reporting relative to Quality. As well, has tactical responsibility to support Leadership across Quality, Manufacturing and Customer Support strategy deployment process (SDP) facilitation and implementation. Qualified candidates will have experience in Quality Process & Methods, AIAG Control Plan and Quality Management Systems (or equivalent) and practical experience in LEAN deployment and execution. This is a hybrid position and can be located in one the following preferred locations: Racine, WI, Fargo, ND, Minneapolis, MN, or Sioux Falls, SD. May also consider candidates in Omaha, NE, Des Moines, IA, the Quad Cities area or Chicago, IL. Responsibilities Provide leadership and development of team of 10 Quality Engineers responsible for mentor and support of individual site Quality Managers, engineers, and manufacturing engineers Build organizational Root Cause Problem Solving and LEAN business capability across industrial site leadership and central business teams Develop, implement and maintain of cross-facility (Regional) Quality Assurance processes Lead central manufacturing and plant quality teams in multi-functional root cause problem solving encouraging of Focused Five objectives Remove inefficiencies in quality problem solving process to rapidly deliver robust solutions for manufacturing colleagues, dealers and customers Own NA Region dealer feedback loop process (Delivery Quality Reporting) and synthesis of dealer quality feedback data to support continuous improvement and CPM (Current Product Management) prioritization of systemic Quality and Customer Experience issues Take accountability for OK to Ship (OKTS) at all North America Ag manufacturing plants, with authority to remove OKTS certification and implement Stop Ship with leadership support Owns Manufacturing Management Alert process with regard to assembly defects or quality escapes posing risk to customer experience; leads plant and product platform quality team in recovery measures Facilitate annual and strategic planning relative to Plant Quality objectives (LTGW, ADPU, FTQ, CPA, etc) for NA Plants Act as Critical contributor to Region's Strategy Deployment Process (SDP) as primary subject matter expert on current industrial manufacturing quality standards, processes and methods Own Strategy Deployment Plan projects and actions within NA Ag Quality Tackle role as primary Kaizen facilitator/mentor within NA Ag Quality and associated groups Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred in Engineering for Manufacturing or Operations. Minimum 5 years proven experience in Manufact ring Quality or Engineering leadership role. Minimum 10 years total quality or operations experience. Ability to travel 30%+ Masters or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business Administration preferred. The annual salary for this role is $140,625 - $206,250 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
