Ameriprise Financial Senior Manager - Training Consultant in Minneapolis, Minnesota
"As a Sr. Mgr.-Training Consultant, you will work closely with senior business leaders to ensure strategic alignment of training solutions for the business. Consult, design and deliver training and interventions that meet business specific priorities and corporate strategy needs with well-defined measures of success. At RiverSource, we take pride in providing our clients with a personalized experience every step of the way; if you prosper in an environment where you can help others and if you enjoy creating a positive impact on client's lives financially, we invite you to take your career to the next level by applying to join our team today!Key ResponsibilitiesServe as lead consultant for multiple and complex projects/training solutions to meet the business' priorities and corporate strategy.Design the creation and implementation of one or more of the business unit's core development solutions or offerings.Establish and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to proactively identify gaps in existing curriculum offerings and develop strategies focused on addressing business needs; implement improvements to existing offerings.Conduct and facilitate training sessions via classroom, web-based, and self-study delivery techniques across business' global footprint.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent7 to 10 years relevant experienceSeries 6Experience applying adult learning theory to training program development.Skills to create, edit and evolve training, tools and solutions to meet the needs of modern learners.Exposure to the application of talent assessment tools.Proven project management and problem solving skills.Demonstrated skills in building effective business consulting relationships.Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design model and proven ability to apply instructional design practices to curriculum design.Experience in either direct supervision or coaching of learning development teams.Highly effective writing and interpersonal communication skills.Required QualificationsMasters DegreeAbout Our CompanyWe're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration.
