Responsibilities

The Senior Full Stack Engineer performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Senior Full Stack Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Software Engineer will work with the architects, technical leads, and fellow engineers to design, develop, implement, and deploy software architectural components and solutions for system-to-system integrations, cloud infrastructure provisioning automation, data integration pipelines, data modeling with high security, performance, and low total cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement API based system-to-system integrations with Humana Data as Service Platform, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Humana Identity and Access Management

  • Design, development and implement big data integration pipelines sourcing data from disparate sources ranging from traditional data warehouses, curated data sets in Data Lakes, and real-time streaming

  • Implement cloud infrastructure lifecycle management automation leveraging Infrastructure as Code principles and framework on Azure

  • Peer review technical designs, and code reviews

  • QA test automation for functional and regression testing key product features and capabilities

  • Partner with architects and tech leads to troubleshoot and resolve critical customer escalations on technical, stability, and performance issues

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in computer science or related field

  • 2 years of enterprise PaaS full stack software development experience with focus on big data platform and analytics

  • 2 years of Webservices/Microservices API development using Java plus Spring Boot, Python or Scala

  • 2 years of experience with Azure or AWS or GCP cloud services platforms

  • 2 years of front-end/UI development experience with Angular and JavaScript

  • 2 years of database development experience with any one of SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, RedShift, or MongoDB

  • Security - In-depth understanding of user authentication and authorization with SSO, SAML, and OAuth; knowledge of data encryption

  • DevOps -- hands-on experience with modern CICD automation eco-systems such as Azure DevOps and pipelines, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, AWS Cloud Formation, Kubernetes, GitHub, and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Jasper 

  • Knowledge of various ETL techniques and data warehouse data modelling

  • Knowledge with big data processing and big data querying using Apache SPARK, SPARK SQL  

  • Experience health care business and industry
