Job Description: Ryan Companies has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior End User Compute Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis! This individual will help develop and implement best practices for the design, deployment, configuration, and support of software in a distributed environment. The individual in this role with also be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations. The selected candidate will provide administrative support for software package development and configuration management and will research and evaluate software and hardware technologies. Some things you can expect to do: Day-to-day maintenance of Windows systems and applications through multiple interfaces. Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements. Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards Support test and deployment of new products and features Participate in change management reviews. Use tools including Microsoft SCCM/Endpoint Manager, Intune, Jamf Pro, scripting, automated reports, and similar solutions. Review and recommendation of new technologies and solutions. Make recommendations and implement best practices to improve the process of imaging systems. Provide support for Service Techs who install endpoint images to end devices. Automate installation of patches and reboots to Windows Desktop and Server operating systems. Manage workload with ITSM ticketing system. Maintain user level account systems to ensure appropriate access to devices and services. Write, update, and maintain technical documentation. Keep abreast of current issues and industry trends and make recommendations to leadership on the future of end user computing. Enhancing the EUC Team by working as a mentor to junior staff and provide training for other employees as the need arises. To be successful in this role, you must: 5+ years of experience in a related field. Have excellent communication skills Inspire others to achieve excellence Actively pursue feedback and adapts to customer needs Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: The base pay is $79,400 - $99,250 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
