Essential and Other Functions: -30% molecular biology -30% fly engineering and husbandry -10% experimental design -30% data analysis and communication Supervision Supervise undergraduate students that will help to promote the research project. Qualifications Essential Qualifications -Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, environmental engineering or equivalent is required. -Extensive experience in molecular biology and protein biochemistry is essential, and a demonstrated ability to independently design and carry out research projects and publish research results in a timely fashion. -Extensive experience in sequence analysis, coatings, and field work is essential. -Experience with fly engineering, particularly in SWD Preferred Qualifications -Experience with metabolomics techniques is preferred.
