Prior experience handling and working with animals. Preferred: Experience with rodent behavior testing and/or transgenic mouse colony maintenance in a laboratory setting. Experience with Excel, AnyMaze, and/or MedAssociates software. Qualifications 60% Conduct assigned behavioral testing and assessment in mice. Maintain laboratory notebook and assist with data processing. 30% Assist with maintenance of transgenic mouse colonies including help with weaning, tagging, genotyping, tissue processing, and database maintenance. 10% Perform routine maintenance in the Mouse Behavior core, which includes prepping solutions, cleaning/maintaining equipment, possibly moving equipment as needed.
