This position will be responsible for recruiting subjects, operating MRI scanners, peripheral equipment, and overseeing data collection. This is a temporary, 75% time, 1 year position with the potential opportunity for an extension up to 2 years total. About the Department: The CMRR is one of the world's premier magnetic resonance imaging facilities, with considerable expertise in imaging physics, engineering, and clinical research. The Center focuses on development of unique magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and spectroscopy methodologies and instrumentation for the acquisition of structural, functional, and biochemical information non-invasively in humans, and utilizing this capability to investigate organ function in health and disease. Collectively, the approaches and instrumentation developed in CMRR constitute some of the most important tools used today to study system level organ function and physiology in humans for basic and translational research, and are increasingly applied world-wide. Responsibilities * MRI Research Support (75%) o Collect MRI Data o Operate MRI scanners o Operate peripheral equipment * Data organization (15%) o Oversee data collection o Ensure data quality control and compliance * Research Study Protocol (5%) o Recruit subjects while maintaining HIPAA compliance o Communicate with participants * Additional Research Support (5%) o Review literature o Other duties as assigned Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
