We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager IIto manage large and complex projects involving air pollution control systems. This individual will manage projects from start to finish, targeting on time delivery and customer satisfaction. This is a great role for someone who is well organized, dedicated to continuous improvement, and enjoys working as part of a team. Ideal candidates would be located near Bloomington, MN, Nicholasville, KY or Baldwin, WI. We will also consider remote candidates. Role Responsibilities: Create and manage project schedules for large and/or complex orders for air pollution control systems. Review complex specifications and create checklists to support the sales team on RFQs. Manage approval drawing and change order processes, and work with the design team to get timely responses. Create and maintain drawing submittal packages. Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process, and work with the design team to get timely responses. Facilitate and manage recurring meetings with internal and external stakeholders (sales, engineering, operations, vendors, customers, etc.). Facilitate stakeholder updates: capture key action items, communicate agendas and meeting minutes. Use a disciplined and diplomatic follow-up process for closing outstanding action items. Negotiate with internal Donaldson stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure project success; proactively resolve roadblocks. Track and clearly communicate project status, risks, key performance indicators and scope recalibrations to all stakeholders. Maintain a thorough understanding of what is included in subcontractors' scopes. Review and manage subcontractor change requests. Assist with coordination of installation schedules. Support project close-out by gathering final as-built drawings and documentation. Manage plan for owner training in conjunction with field staff and engineering. Support the achievement of the business unit performance metrics and initiatives. Site visits for inventory check and startup, as needed (travel up to 15%) Evaluate order management processes and implement continuous improvements within the business. TRAVEL: Up to 15-20% Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of support experience, ideally working directly with customers 2+ years of project management-related experience Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience working with equipment manufacturer. Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional relationships, including communicating at all levels. Proficient using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Proficient using Microsoft Project (or similar project management software). Ability to prioritize projects concurrently in a dynamic environment. Outstanding organizational skills. Self-starter with a proactive approach.
