Job Title: Production Specialist - 1st Shift

Job Description

The Wet Room Operator II is responsible for various roles in the Wet Process department, including Etch, Microetch, Direct Metal, Develop, Resist Strip, Ferric Etch, and Tin Strip. The Wet Room Operator II is expected to train and certify in at least one of these processes.

Responsibilities

• Read, follow, and sign route sheets.

• Read and understand blueprints within the route sheet.

• Operate Etch, Microetch, Direct Metal, Develop, Resist Strip, Ferric Etch, and/or Tin Strip according to the appropriate Standard Operating Procedure.

• Review and inspect work according to IPC standards.

• Move work orders within Paradigm.

• Participate in, implement, and create continuous improvement ideas.

• Understand and actively participate in 5S initiatives.

• Cross-train to perform skills outside of the initial area.

• Become certified as a trainer in at least one skill.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma.

• 6 Months of manufacturing or production experience.

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to stand on feet for the full shift.

• Ability to communicate with engineers on findings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any electronics experience, specifically IPC standard experience, is a plus.

Work Environment

Clean manufacturing environment in a climate-controlled facility. Casual dress code - jeans and t-shirts are acceptable. The culture is family-like, fostering a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Hours are 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
