The Service and Repair Pricing Strategy Manager will be responsible for partnering with Local/Regional leadership team to ensure the effective implementation of pricing foundation processes for the Region and driving more complex strategic pricing initiatives that are aligned with corporate priorities. As well as driving the creation of a pricing culture and support the standardization of tools, processes and metrics in the region, for all Business units, ensuring sustainable implementation by creating a prioritization roadmap.

A Day in the Life

You will be responsible for:

• Leading S&R Regional Pricing Strategy within the Medtronic Global team, in alignment with Global S&R Pricing Strategy, covering the areas of Pricing & Contracting Strategy, Pricing Governance and Insights into Pricing Performance.

• Defining pricing strategy for existing and new services, for current portfolio and new products, covering the areas of: spare parts, Per incident, Service contract agreements

• Performance monitoring and partnering with all relevant business stakeholders to define, implement and report on pricing strategy & guidelines.

• Putting in place systematic annual price increase: definition and validation of ambition; definition of price increase processes and tools to set target and measure performance against target

• Contributing, with Global S&R Pricing lead and peers S&R Pricing Manager, to the definition and implementation of strategic pricing framework (strategic pricing playbook), to be consistently implemented for hospitals, regional buying groups, patients and governmental bodies, managing through tenders and individual contract negotiations (localization of pricing playbook)

• Developing and providing recommended solutions to innovative pricing solutions.

• Driving performance of the Regional S&R team on pricing topics: educate internal stakeholders and customers; build internal pricing-related business practices, processes and capabilities; develop team members to maximize strengths and realize potential efficiencies

• Defining and implementing key KPI’s and processes to manage the function successfully towards a ‘best-in-class’ organization.

• Developing insights and reports through partnerships with Analyst (Analytics and Insights team).

Must Haves

• University degree in business, finance, accounting, or equivalent

• Excellent knowledge of Excel modelling and PowerBI as well as MS Office

• 6-8 years of relevant service pricing experience or successful experience in Strategy, Finance, Reimbursement / Health Economics or Marketing

• Proven track record of business partnership and process improvements, as well change and project management and strong analytical experience

• Problem solving and decision-making skills – and ability to operate within a complex matrix environment with multi-cultural & multi-functional components to overcome strategic challenges

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills coupled with ability to work independently as well as function well in a team

• Enthusiastic, Self-motivated and positive

• Available for some international travel and out of office work

Nice to Haves

• Service pricing experience from a large healthcare player

• Experience with Price Management Systems is a plus

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have broad knowledge of project management.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$106,400.00 - $159,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
