Provide feedback to current program participants in their eBook courses, including participating in discussion forums, reviewing assignments for patterns that could improve group-level feedback, and providing individual feedback and support on course exercises. Participate in and facilitate Rounds sessions to address participant questions and concerns and to provide additional interactions for learning. Contact participants (individuals, small groups, cohorts) as needed to provide participant support and mentoring. Provide mentoring and support for others in mentoring roles amongst current and past program participants to facilitate the sharing of technical assistance across groups and to identify critical stakeholders/persons who can collaborate or assist the participants and alumni in various activities. Schedule and facilitate mentor check-ins, discussions, and/or meetings. Content development - 20% Tap into their own expertise and enthusiasm for topics to ask critical questions, engage in conversations, and point students to resources for further information. Communicate often with the education team with questions suggestions, and highlight emerging student issues, and to share their thoughts on effective processes and adjustments, including attending scheduled team meetings approximately every two weeks or as needed. Applied project phase - 30% Work with the CAHFS ProgRESSVet team to shape the new process for project development. During the project development phase, review possible project topics and provide feedback regarding feasibility, key contacts, and considerations for successful project development and potential implementation. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Required qualifications: An advanced degree in a discipline related to current projects in the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (e.g., PhD, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or similar area of qualification) Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in proposal development or subsequent project implementation. International work experience (specifically in Eastern Africa) Demonstrated ability to work across complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different countries.
