We seek candidates with a record of excellence in the mathematical sciences. Applications are being taken through . (50%) Research: Conduct high quality research and disseminate the results through publications and invited talks and conferences. Participate in the research mission of the department, especially through interaction with faculty and students. Participate in and organize research seminars. (40%) Teaching: Develop and teach up to three courses per academic year. Possible assignments range from introductory to advanced undergraduate and even occasionally graduate level classes. Advise students regarding both specific coursework and broader academic or career goals. Opportunities exist to advise undergraduate students in directed reading or project-based courses. (10%) Training, Outreach and Service: Engage with departmental student organizations at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Continue personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field, and broaden knowledge and expertise. Contribute to outreach activities that support the department's mission. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Applicants should possess a Ph.D or equivalent degree in mathematics or a closely related field.
