This position requires a combination of nursing education and industry knowledge and experience, leadership, project management, and relationship-building skills to effectively manage grants, cultivate partnerships, and ensure the successful execution of funded projects. The PNAM Grant Program Director will work with college and industry partners to initiate paid apprentice positions and to adapt current curricula to fit the model. The PNAM Grant Program Director will work across college and industry partners in establishing and operationalizing apprenticeships. The Director will be a graduate-prepared nurse experienced in leading nursing curriculum projects, student success projects, partnerships with clinical entities, clinical learning and responsible for accountability and reporting outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: (20%) Develop and implement a strategic plan for the PNAM program in alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Identify funding opportunities, assess programmatic fit, and prioritize funding applications accordingly to grow the PNAM program. Collaborate with the CNEE Executive Director to establish program objectives, metrics, and timelines. Program and Grant Management: (35%) Lead the PNAM project objectives, including ongoing work to establish and maintain clinical industry and educational collaborations. Ensure compliance with grant guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements. Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics to track progress and ensure accountability. Oversee the evaluation of grant-funded projects to assess impact and effectiveness. Relationship Building: (25%) Cultivate and maintain relationships with clinical industry stakeholders, nursing education programs, funding agencies, donors, partners, government agencies and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and community organizations to leverage resources and maximize impact. Coordinate with RealTime Talent on employer talent strategies. Expectation to become TPM certified through a national TPM academy with mentorship from RealTime Talent. Partner with RealTime Talent on employer strategies to maximize benefits achieved through this pilot as part of their talent pipeline sustainability plan to identify innovative funding solutions that enable the employers to grow the program as part of a more comprehensive talent plan. Serve as a primary point of contact for PNAM grant-related inquiries, communications, and negotiations. Team Leadership: (10%) Supervise and mentor staff involved in PNAM grant program administration, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Coordinate cross-functional teams and committees to facilitate communication and collaboration across departments within partnering organizations. Supervise data collection, input and tracking in Workforce One. Communication and Advocacy: (10%) Develop and implement communication strategies to promote grant programs, accomplishments, and impact to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain partnership with strategic communications of our sponsoring and collaborating organizations. Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to advocate for funding priorities and showcase program achievements. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and materials for various audiences, including funders, board members, and the general public. Qualifications Qualifications: BA/BS degree with 8 years of experience or advanced degree with 6 years of experience. Experience in grant management, program development, or related field. Demonstrated success in securing, managing, and reporting on grants from government agencies, foundations, or other funding sources. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including funders, partners, staff, and community members. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple project components simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure. Strategic thinker with analytical skills to assess programmatic impact, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation. Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with the ability to integrate these principles into grant program strategies and practices. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree in nursing. Minimum 5 years experience in academic nursing education. Minimum 3 years experience in clinical nursing practice. An academic nursing education program leadership or supervisory role preferred. Preferred clinical experience as a nurse preceptor or clinical nurse educator. Experience in nursing education innovation, curriculum design, and nursing education program accreditation. Experience leading nursing student success initiatives.
