We are seeking a candidate to join the payroll team as a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will have Workday payroll experience and serve as the specialist for the semi-monthly, monthly, and off-cycle payrolls. This role will also assist with data integrity through pre and post payroll production reporting, input reconciliations, employment verifications and other administrative tasks. The Payroll Specialist must work collaboratively with all departments. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of payroll administration experience, Workday Payroll experience and excellent customer service skills. Assist colleagues with accessing withholding elections, tax elections, pay slips, and year-end documents within Workday. Provide guidance and assistance to resolve employee inquiries related to payroll. Supports the payroll department's inbox both accurately and timely. Timely process and maintain records for garnishments, levies, and lock-in letters in Workday. Process on-demands, direct deposit reversals, stop payments, and stale dated checks. Maintain accurate payroll records. Work effectively with our third-party service providers to identify and resolve issues timely. Assist in all year-end reconciliation tasks and preparation of annual documents. Projects and other tasks as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree or equivalent payroll experience. 2 - 5+ years of experience in payroll processing or related role. 1+ years of experience in Workday is required. Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Strong understanding of payroll practices, regulations, and tax laws. Highly accountable, team player with positive attitude. Exceptional customer service to all colleagues with great communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, and Excel strongly preferred.
