Robert Half Payroll Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are in search for a Payroll Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function in our Service industry team. You will be charged with tasks such as processing payroll, system implementation for new payroll systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and process improvement within the payroll function.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of company payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Lead the implementation of new payroll systems, providing support throughout the process.

• Document payroll processes for reference and training purposes.

• Ensure all payroll activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.

• Implement process improvements within the payroll function to increase efficiency.

• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for payroll management.

• Manage payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing resolution in a timely manner.

• Oversee 401k administration and other benefits functions.

• Conduct regular auditing of payroll records and transactions.

• Manage international payroll processing and related activities.

This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Experience with Ceridian and Concur systems.

• Knowledge in 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Proficiency in 'About Time' and other Accounting Functions.

• Experience in Auditing and Benefit Functions.

• Knowledge in International Payroll and UKG Pro.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
