ABOUT THIS POSITION The Payer Account Director is responsible for executing the strategic plan to secure appropriate market access for Inspire's current device as well as future portfolio launches. As a member of the Market Access leadership team, this person is responsible for navigating and implementing both the short and long-term strategies for national payers, selected regional payers, state Medicaid, and Payer/IDNs to ensure policy coverage and criteria allow for meaningful access of Inspire products for appropriate patients. This position has the potential to be fully remote. Occasional travel will be required for in-person meetings OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Execute access launch strategies for future Inspire products and manage all aspects of relationships with assigned accounts Responsible for maintaining relationships with payers on behalf of Inspire to discuss Inspire products and ensure appropriate access for eligible patients. Responsible for the development of the payer account plan and the overall account strategy to include all internal and external stakeholders while working collaboratively to match customer's needs. Organize and facilitate key customer meetings by working with teams across Market Access, Medical Affairs and the Advisory Board members. Provide strategic inputs and customer insights to continually shape the strategies and the development of payer and reimbursement materials Partner with internal and external key stakeholders to advance RWE contribution for value based care initiatives. Collaborate on activities with cross-functional teams and key internal stakeholders to ensure Access strategies are implemented and tracking to established timelines, objectives and goals Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Healthcare or Business Administration Minimum 10 years' experience in medical device industry or healthcare field 2+ years Payer policy experience 25% - 50% travel required Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree Customer knowledge and/or regional/national health plan knowledge. Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills with executive presence. Deep understanding of US payer trends and have established executive relationships with national commercial and Medicare payers, PBMs, Medicaid, and state government affairs Strong Project Management with experience coordinating broad cross functional teams. Demonstrated successful negotiation skills.
