Overview: We are seeking a patent agent to join our Intellectual Property Group of over 40 professionals, to be based in one of our Midwest offices, with the opportunity to work remotely in a hybrid environment. Preferred candidates will have: *Patent prosecution experience *A strong technical background and education in chemistry or chemical engineering or related field *Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills *Strong academic/professional credentials *Registration to practice with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office *J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School *Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to promptly become licensed in IA, MN, ND, or WI In return for your expertise, we offer broad based intellectual property opportunities, including patent prosecution, client counseling, freedom to operate assistance, and IP due diligence, within a variety of technologies.
