Aston Carter Order Entry Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Order Entry Specialist

Job Description

Primarily responsible for assisting company customers, internal and external, with all aspects of service requests including order processing, warranty follow-up, and responding to all ongoing service needs. Based in the Minneapolis office, this person will answer sales and technical support requests for product availability and order status, communicate and coordinate activities with customers, other company entities, and Sales Reps to get orders processed and shipped out. Take point on all service needs including replacement parts and refurbished instruments. This is a temporary position expected to last nine months, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

Hard Skills

  • Key orders into the company ERP (MAS) accurately and efficiently

  • Provide non-technical product and pricing information to customers

  • Create and document service complaints in Salesforce

  • Complete Credit/Rebill or Credit/Reship RMAs in Sage ERP MAS 200

  • Determine and document root cause of service complaints

  • High school diploma / GED required

  • 2+ years of order entry experience

  • 1+ years of using an ERP system required

  • Salesforce experience is a plus

Soft Skills

  • Primary point-of-contact to customer post-sale for non-technical problems and questions

  • Contribute to the maintenance of lasting relationships with customers

  • Effectively manage work situations of moderate complexity

  • Follow through with requests to completion or escalate when appropriate

  • Knowledgeable communication and proactive resolution of questions or issues

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Flexible hours - 8 hours within 7:30am-8:30am timeframe
