Job ID360919 LocationAll Other -See Job Description Job FamilySupplemental Employee Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryTemporary Job Code0001 Employee ClassCivil Service About the Job This Temporary position is located at Rosemount's Research & Outreach Center (RROC) in Rosemount, MN Major Areas of Responsibility for this position are as follows Operate various types of mowers to cut grass in lawns, landscaped areas, and ditches Operate weed whip around landscaped areas, buildings Clear grounds of organic debris, trash Identify equipment issues and perform basic equipment tasks like filling tires with air or filling the gas tank Operate power drills Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A valid driver's license Ability to work in teams and work collaboratively across programs Desired Qualifications: Experience working alone outdoors Appreciation for research activities and patience to work in research setting Ability to be self motivated and manage time effectively About the Department Rosemount Research & Outreach Center (RROC) connects agricultural and food production research to growers and producers and provides a window into the University of Minnesota for urban and suburban citizens who depend on agriculture for their daily needs.
