Job ID360840 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilySupplemental Employee Full/Part TimePart-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code0001 Employee ClassCivil Service About the Job Responsibilities: Help establish and maintain cut flower demonstration plot on the Student Organic Farm, including planting, watering, fertilizing, weeding. * Collect data on flower performance once per week * Collect observational data on pollinator and beneficial insect presence on flowers * Enter data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets * Communicate with urban grower partners and help support on-farm demonstration plots * Attend and co-present observations from demonstration plots to grower audiences at outreach events in the metro area * Support maintenance of raspberry plots on St. Paul campus (turning on irrigation, monitoring moisture levels, communicating with field plot staff on weeding and maintenance needs) Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and an interest in plants Requested pay rate: $ 18/hr How To Apply Applications must be submitted online.
