Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to perform made-to-order assembly operations on medium-sized sheet metal enclosures, similar in size to a large refrigerator.

• The role involves installing components such as blowers, motors, hinges, door panels, and electrical and control panels using basic tools like drills.

• The successful candidate will also be responsible for pulling their own parts for each order using a pallet jack, inspecting, assembling, and deburring sheet metal parts and components, performing equipment assembly according to engineering drawings, conducting product testing and performance testing, recording results, and performing final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high-quality products.

Work Environment

• This position is based in a well-lit, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.

• Each candidate has their own workstation.

• Working hours are from 8am to 4:30pm. Occasionally, early starts at 7am or shifts from 6am to 10am on Saturdays may be required, happening about 7 times a year.
