MidWestOne Bank Marketing Technology Officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Works to achieve strategic objectives through leadership and participation in various digital marketing, financial technology, and customer experience capacities, committees, and initiatives. Contributes to brand leadership through marketing technologies and promotional activities to achieve maximum marketing asset integration and effectiveness. Develops and executes digital marketing efforts to create revenue generating relationships with online audiences. Drives traffic back to website from digital and social media platforms, search, display, e-mail, direct, and third-party referrals from websites and other interactive media sources. Develops and delivers insightful analyses and reports through website analytics, social media, and digital campaign data. Tracks interactions related to our brand and website. Provides regular reporting and metrics to monitor impacts to the customer experience. Participates in a broad range of marketing and public relations efforts.

  • Collaborates with the Marketing team to develop and execute traditional and digital marketing strategies to achieve goals as identified in the bank’s strategic and annual operating plans; effectively works within the budget; monitors, records, and controls expenses.

  • Administers the bank’s website, online, and mobile marketing strategies; ensures WCAG, fair banking, and other compliance; provides regular reporting.

  • Develops and executes digital content and social media activities to leverage online media placement; ensures content is appropriate, current, compliant, easily found, and efficiently organized.

  • Builds relationships with customers, prospects, and communities through digital media tools (audio, video, photography) on social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

  • Tracks and reports digital performance by business lines, analyzes campaign reports using Google Analytics, bank generated data, and third-party sources, and makes recommendations to improve online conversions.

  • Aggregates data from various “listening” posts to maintain and publish the bank’s “voice of the customer” dashboard to measure and communicate customer satisfaction and engagement

  • Serves as Marketing liaison with other divisions on new and ongoing digital and customer experience initiatives.

  • Assists with public relations and sponsorship initiatives to maximize positive brand exposure.

  • Collaborates with Marketing and Compliance team members effectively through Kadince.

  • Manages relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers for existing platforms such as the website, URLs, DNS; responsible for maintenance and development of digital assets; vets new vendor opportunities.

  • Serves as liaison to Connections Club Director to assist and coordinate regional events.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, information technology, communications, or related field

  • Google Certification and Certified Financial Marketing Professional is a plus.

  • Experience developing digital marketing and social media campaigns using web analysis tools and Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and v-lookups; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
