Sherwin-Williams Co. Marketing Manager - MetalVue in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Assure the MetalVue digital product portfolio is optimized to meet current business needs and provides for new business opportunities. Commercial Sales guidance and support including Sales Excellence support for the MetalVue program. Help create and maintain the MetalVue marketing strategy. Work closely with Coil Marketing Communications team to create actionable MetalVue content. Develop and maintain strong customer and industry relations to assure vitality of the business and to increase market penetration. Liaison between the Coil business, Corporate IT, and MetalVue partners. Strategy Provide support to develop and implement strategies and tactics for profitable sales growth of the MetalVue program within the Coil business. Enhance utilization of assets (human, materials and equipment) and facilitate alignment with business strategy and needs. Assist, advise, and guide the Coil Leadership Team on MetalVue related trends and issues. Business Development Support the Coil sales organization within the sales process at a tactical account level through targeting, lead generation, sales tool development, and collaborative selling through MetalVue program. Support the Commercial team with MetalVue program marketing assets and trade show support. Become Subject Matter Expert on metal roofing segment insights, trends and products. Bring opportunities for improvement to the Coil leadership team based on customer inquiries. Support key initiatives and needs of the Make More with Metal platform including MetalVue and Roofing Solutions Serve as a lead to the MetalVue program, which includes prioritizing and assigning marketing work and determining work direction. Support development of proposals and presentations to key customers. Provide competitive intelligence and positioning guidance. Be actively involved in industry associations. Communication Communicate on a continual basis with the sales organization and build a strong partnership in support of the MetalVue business. Communicate with internal and external customers to drive improvements to processes and overall business. Working in concert with Coil Marcom - Act as the segment/product expert and provide thought leadership in support of the creation of effective sales and marketing tools, collateral, and events. Design and deliver market and product training, both internally and externally FORMAL EDUCATION: (GENERALLY, IF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IS ACCEPTABLE, THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THREE YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE FOR EVERY ONE YEAR OF COLLEGE EDUCATION REQUIRED) Required: Bachelor's degree Preferred: MBA KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Required: Previous sales and/or marketing experience in B2B required Preferred: 5 years industry experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
