Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Manager of Project Management to oversee and lead our organization's Business Analyst team in the Print and Service Solutions IT Program Management Office (PMO). You will oversee a team of Business Analysts in planning, executing, and delivering IT project requirements within scope, budget, and schedule. Your expertise in business requirements capture and documentation methodologies, technical acumen, and strong leadership skills will be vital in driving successful outcomes and aligning IT initiatives with business objective as part of the P&SS IT Business Services and Delivery Leadership team. When appropriate, you will also directly manage requirements capturing work. Your Responsibilities: Manages, coaches and directs the work of business analysts. Encourage ongoing skill development and career planning. Provides managerial oversight for business requirements components of project by monitoring requirement scopes, documentation sets, costs, schedules, staffing, communications, and agreed to deliverables. Develop standards, processes and tools used by his team for effective project scheduling and managing cost and quality targets. Assists teams in reducing project risks, resolving scope issues and roadblocks from resources and organizational challenges. Build cross-functional relationships with Management within P&SS, other Taylor business units, vendors and customers as appropriate. Establishes data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project actives and provide periodic reporting. Helps maintain the overall project backlog as well as providing input for project prioritization. As appropriate directly manage assigned work as the assigned Analyst. Be accountable to the Project Sponsor for leading the successful delivery of a project according to measures of scope, time, cost & quality. Provide business and/or technical leadership as needed for successful conduct of the project Applying project management requirements collection and analysis principles and techniques to multiple projects. These projects can be large and span multiple IT and business departments. Work with management to determine and acquire resources as needed. Manage team and individual deliverables ensuring they meet the defined timeline and quality Accurately determine, assign, track and manage documentation and time information per internal standards Manage assigned work from start to close Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and executives Perform risk management to minimize project risks You Must Have: Bachelor's Degree 2 plus years of IT project management experience 3 to 5 years of a leadership role in managing teams Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Solid technical knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system integration. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while prioritizing tasks effectively. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and SharePoint and a willingness to learn a d utilize Project Management tools required by the team. Ability to deal with highly technical and complex projects Familiarity with a variety of technology solutions Solid understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and best fit across ERP, web and other projects Strong knowledge of business and IT requirements documentation methodology, tools and techniques including both traditional and agile.
