This is a remote position (US). #LI-RemoteCheck out our video Saving Lives: It's the Best Job EverACCOUNTABILITIES:Leadership:Executes business plan and strategy to provide an apheresis center network for cellular therapy customers.Leads and executes vendor apheresis collection accounts from site selection through on-going business management to support commercial demand, manufacturing, and research/development.Assists in development of and execution of strategies to track and improve vendor performance, including close collaboration with Quality and Regulatory professionals within the organization and network.Leads teams to meet critical accountabilities, milestones and deliverables, resolving barriers to success and communicating progress effectively to internal and external stakeholders.Leads and manages a high-performing team.Other Accountabilities:Works with Finance and internal stakeholders to review and establish industry-based fair and equitable reimbursement rates for apheresis and collection center activities.Actively monitors business and operational metrics and course corrects as needed.Directs processes in accordance with NMDP standards, FDA and other applicable regulations.Maintains awareness of scientific developments and technologies in the cellular therapy field.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Healthcare knowledge.Cell collection expertise.Knowledge in supply chain management, vendor relations and operations in a regulated health care and/or biotechnology environment.Ability to:Demonstrate remote management capabilities.Collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority.Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Actively monitor business and operational metrics and course corrects as needed.Develop job competencies, employee career plans and motivating employees.Understand financial management to ensure fiscal decisions are responsible.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare, biotechnology, or supply chain management preferred.Five years of progressively responsible management experience in health care, biotechnology, operations, business or an NMDP position.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)Knowledge in business development.DEI COMMITMENT:As part of our values, we are committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion at NMDP.
