National Marrow Donor Program Manager, Clinical Data Analytics - Hybrid/Remote-24000066 in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Please apply online using a laptop or desktop computer.POSITION SUMMARY:The Manager, Clinical Data Analytics oversees Clinical Data Management (CDM) tasks from study start-up through data lock and archiving. Collaboration is critical as this person will be required to work with peers and other functional members to define database review and cleaning strategies via defined standard operating procedures and regulatory guidance.The Manager will supervise a team of Clinical Data Analysts (CDAs) that provide technical and functional expertise to deliver our clinical trial portfolio and associated data needs. This position can be remote (US) or hybrid. #LI-Remote #LI-Hybrid.ACCOUNTABILITIES:Manages CDAs and mentors team members involved in centralized data review and analytics activities.Leads in the development, implementation, and evaluation of risk-based monitoring and centralized statistical monitoring activities.Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of clinical data collected during trial execution and leads to provide timely data delivery.Collaborates with clinical IT teams on activities relating to the development, implementation, and monitoring of data warehouse and business insights tools for clinical study data oversight.Collaborates with study teams to determine root cause(s) for data quality problems and proposes strategies to resolve data issues.Assists with supporting data collected in multiple research databases by generating queries to study sites, resolving data issues, and ensuring data quality checks and centralized data review processes are technically accurate and adhere to established business and clinical study requirements.Proactively identify potential data issues/risks and define possible mitigations for resolution.Collaborates with study teams to translate clinical study needs into analytics/reporting requirements. This includes processes for error identification, determining data quality thresholds, output generation, testing and generating documentation.Assists in communications to study sites for data quality issue resolution. Escalates issues of continuing data non-compliance to Clinical Project Manager and other study team members as appropriate.Analyzes data, identifies trends; prepares data tables for reports.Participates in case report form development data quality check design; evaluates data management review activities to ensure processes are efficient and effective.Oversees clinical database user acceptance testing procedures, documentation requirements, and training requirements.Assists study teams with study close out activities, including preparation of the final clinical dataset package.Writes and reviews standard operating procedures and work instructions.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of:Research/clinical databases, such as registries using electronic data capture (EDC) systems.Highly skilled with MS Office, especially Excel.Excellent understanding of databases; excellent technical skills in querying and analyzing data.Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.Ability to:Organized and thorough with attention to details.Effective in interpersonal skills and have excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.Effective in logical thinking and problem solving.Manage multiple deadlines and priorities while ensuring quality and timeliness.Must exemplify our NMDP Standards.Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in one of the life sciences, Health Information Management, Health Information Technician, or equivalent knowledge and experience.Minimum five years of relevant experience in data analysis, data management or in a clinical research environment.Prior leadership/management experience, minimum of 1-3 years.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)Knowledge of blood and marrow transplant clinical research and medical field.Hold relevant SCDM, ACRP, or SOCRA certificationDEI COMMITMENT:As part of our values, we are committed to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion at NMDP.
