Job Title: Machine Builder
Job Description
Our client is looking for a candidate to learn their process of building specialized CNC equipment. During the in-shop training period, candidates will learn robotics, automation, programming, and more. The role involves building panels based on prints, installing panels into machines, wiring up machines, installing tooling, and everything else related to building CNC EDM machines. Over time, candidates will also learn how to install and run the machines to teach customers during on-site installations.
CNC Service & Training Technician - Once Trained
Candidates will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, evaluate, and repair CNC machines. As a maintenance technician, you will travel 50% of the time throughout the United States. Most repairs will be electrical, electronic, or mechanical. Candidates will receive service manuals and shadow another technician for 3-4 months to get acclimated to the machines.
Once fully trained, candidates will travel to customer sites once or twice per month, for about 3 days per trip, totaling approximately 6 days per month. When not traveling for maintenance, they will assist with all machine building and panel construction at the Bloomington shop.
