Wells Fargo Lead Communications Consultant - Wealth & Investment Management in MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Communications Consultants to support our First Clearing business and other general communication consulting projects within the Wealth & Investment Management organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Create and implement communication plans and related pieces.

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to support key clients.

  • Partner with other communications teams to ensure alignment of communications strategies and messaging.

  • Partner with communications review board and leadership on enhancements to communication plans and communication implementation.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on communication mediums, communications review process and end-to-end communication lifecycle.

  • Balance multiple projects at one time by using clear communication with the team, leveraging established methods, and applying problem solving skills when approaching the unknown.

  • Achieve objectives on time and within individual project timelines, working independently or as part of a development team.

  • Advise more experienced management on communications strategy to drive business priorities, and support Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Public Relations, Media Relations or Corporate Communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 years brokerage experience.

  • Consummate team player with an eye toward leveraging communications as a key tool to advance business goals.

  • Strong written communication skills, including demonstrated writing experience for field facing and home office enterprise teams.

  • Ability to identify roadblocks and partner across Wealth & Investment Management footprint to create novel solutions to business challenges impacting the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with the desired audience.

  • Ability to seek feedback in completed communication projects to identify opportunities for improvements.

  • FINRA registration including Series 7 and 66 (or FINRA recognized equivalents).

Job Expectations:

  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
