Description NOTICE TO ALL EMPLOYEES Pursuant to 20 C.F.R * 656.10(d), you are hereby notified that an Application for Alien Employment Certification will be filed for the following position: Company: Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities (MACC) Job Title: Lead Accountant Duties: The Lead Accountant is responsible for processing account reconciliations, month-end-close, and general ledger accounting. Duties include: (1) Audit Support; (2) General Ledger; (3) Information Systems (maintain accounting information systems to ensure they working efficiently; implement new accounting software; assist staff with questions about accounting systems and software, investigate and resolve any Continia-related issues); (4) Provide technical support to existing Business Central users and train new users on Business Central functionality; and (5) Serve as backup for other Finance staff duties; prepare Power BI visuals of financial data. May serve as liaison with our vendor, Syvantis, as needed. Position allows employee to work remotely within commuting distance for occasional trips to the corporate office. Requires: Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting plus one year of accounting experience, including account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, and use of advanced Microsoft Excel tools, including Pivot Table. At least six (6) months of this experience must have included accounts payable and month-end accounting closing procedures, monitoring invoices, use of Continia or Spectrum accounts payable software, use of LightSpeed or Business Central software, and preparation of financial Dashboards on Power BI.
