Metropolitan Alliance of Connected Communities Lead Accountant in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description: The Lead Accountant is responsible for processing account reconciliations, month-end-close, and general ledger accounting. Duties include: (1) Audit Support; (2) General Ledger; (3) Information Systems (maintain accounting information systems to ensure they working efficiently; implement new accounting software; assist staff with questions about accounting systems and software, investigate and resolve any Continia-related issues); (4) Provide technical support to existing Business Central users and train new users on Business Central functionality; and (5) Serve as backup for other Finance staff duties; prepare Power BI visuals of financial data. May serve as liaison with our vendor, Syvantis, as needed. Position allows employee to work remotely within commuting distance for occasional trips to the corporate office.
