The TTCP aims to improve outcomes for American Indian families through building capacity within public and Tribal child welfare workforces. The Information Technology Professional acts as the primary point of contact for learner support and user interface/instructional design for the TTCP's web portal, Destiny One Registration System (DORS), and the Canvas learning management system (LMS). The Information Technology Professional, along with other responsibilities, also collaborates with applicable stakeholders for the day-to-day operation of the TTCP's online, hybrid and in-person training courses. The TTCP, founded in 2020, averages 21 training days a month, with over 2,563 participants having attended training to date. Learner Support - 35% Process learner support tickets via Freshdesk and email on a daily basis. Respond to as needed, and/or forward on to others for support Manage participant enrollment in Destiny One Registration System (DORS) and Canvas Assist participants with TTCP website portal, DORS and Canvas course navigation. Create attendance reports and provide transcript and continuing education documentation to participants as needed. Add/drop participants from courses as necessary, filling vacancies based on wait-lists, maintain current wait list, analyze attendance, and report attendance to TTCP staff. Aid participants in accessing and maintaining learning records through the TTCP and MNCWTA confirming course credit and registering for make-up courses, when needed User Interface Design - 30% Builds TTCP in-person, hybrid, and remote training courses and course sections in Canvas, DORS and Wagtail for Tribal and public child welfare workers Assigns user roles to trainers and participants in Canvas for TTCP courses and assists Ensures that learner management systems support the needs of Tribal workers and TTCP staff Works closely with TTCP Technology Lead to solve recurring problems related to the learning management system and website portals In collaboration with TTCP Technology Lead, communicates with Educational Technology Innovations (ETI) and their systems to coordinate the technical design, development, and maintenance of software platforms Instructional Design - 15% Assist with building course templates; creating and maintaining Canvas course options Update multiple TTCP courses and sections weekly Develops expertise on Canvas and DORS; advises and guides on their strengths and weaknesses for ongoing improvement of training design Participates in strategic planning for training events, including visioning, and identifying information technology elements required to ensure the successful delivery of training content Works with TTCP team to develop strategy for the design and delivery of online and hybrid instruction and ensures content is digitally accessible Identifies and recommends appropriate platforms and features to use for different types of events, such as meeting, webinar, pre-recorded webinar, conference, training, breakout rooms, whiteboard, Q&A, polls, etc. Contributes to a professional training team to effectively support the delivery of a positive learning experience for participants Research, explore, and advise on emerging technologies that may be beneficial and applicable to the TTCP Business Relationship [Management] - 5% Works in a culturally responsive environment, specifically with American Indian communities Participates in TTCP staff meetings to promote new ideas, propose areas of improvement, and further participant experience Understands the objectives of the TTCP and assists in meeting those bjectives through tasks Communicates and collaborates with TTCP Technology Lead and ETI to maintain and improve learning systems Interfaces with relevant university and college units as necessary Familiarizes self and engages with the MNCWTA LMS Team to streamline workflows Other duties as assigned TTCP Tech Support - 15% Produces online and hybrid training events for up to 300 participants using Zoom or similar platforms and provides direction to other training producers Assists with all information technology logistics during planning and onsite implementation, including hardware and software applications Please note, we are not offering H-1B or Green Card sponsorship for this position. Salary Range: $66,000+ (Depends on Qualifications) Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree with at least two years professional work experience, or a master's degree Demonstrated experience in working with learning management systems, such as Canvas Preferred Bachelor's degree in educational technology, computer technology, instructional design, or a related-field Experience with managing learning material for adult learners Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, particularly in settings with Indigenous constituents Knowledge or experience working with Tribal communities Extensive experience in Canvas, Destiny One Registration System, Freshdesk, Basecamp and Wagtail.
