The Implementation Engineer works with Inovalon and customer team members to define the objectives and requirements of the customer, support internal and customer system behavior and troubleshooting investigations, and roll out and implement new features and modules aligned to the roadmap. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with customer/end-users to gather and translate the business needs into detailed software requirements (Functional/Non-Functional, Integration and technical specifications); Perform system analysis on software programs, applications, and web services/APIs, utilizing development tools, including potential source code and system configurations investigation, during analysis; Lead and guide testing and troubleshooting of system features during implementation, including documenting defects, errors and solutions by performing RCA (Root Cause Analysis); Become fluent in engineering process and maintain relationships with key technical subject matter experts; Engage technology, product and operational experts as applicable to advise / create solution options that mitigate risks and ensure a successful solution roll-out; Learn Platform Architecture, product, and integration capabilities and remain current on them; Efficiently integrate new systems, features, modules, and applications with business operations and services; Assess customer technology and operational constraints to identify gaps and risks; Document process workflow, build and configure the system based on design and ensure configuration meets requirements and works as expected; Create and maintain deliverables within the assigned area; Collaborate as part of the full client lifecycle to include: RFP, demo, project kick-off, implementation, go live and optimization; Maintain industry expertise; Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement; Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times for any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon to achieve the operational and financial success of the Employer. Job Requirements: Minimum of 3 years consulting experience on technical projects as developer, analyst, architect, technical project, or solution consultant; Strong investigative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills; Experience with sFTP and API integration projects; Understanding and experience with object-oriented programming language(s) required, experience with C# .NET, .NET Core, Aurelia, and JavaScript preferred; Hands-on implementation experience on a Cloud-based SAAS Platform; Experience in writing simple to complex SQL queries (any relational database); Oracle is preferred; Experience with SQL tuning and troubleshooting; Experience with API testing and validation tools like SOAP-UI, Postman; Hands-on experience with API configuration; Experience with VSTS, Visio, Excel, Word, etc.; Experience in Browser Developer Tools is required (Tools like https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools); Knowledge of any issues tracking system like ServiceNow or Jeera is required; Troubleshooting RCA (Root Cause Analysis) experience; Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare/specialty pharmacy-related environment is preferred; Excellent communication, organizational and observational skills; Proficient problem-solving skills with good judgment and decision-making; Work well as a member of a team; Must be goal-oriented and focused; DNN (Dot Net Nuke) or similar product experience is preferred; and Experience with implementation of a Client-server application is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred or equivalent healthcare technology experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time); Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions; Subject to inside environmental conditions; and Travel for this position will be approximately 25% as required to support projects at client sites. Travel time can be variable as needed for projects. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
