Anaplan HR Operations Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist to provide frontline HR support to Anaplan employees and the greater HR team. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail focused, technically savvy and comfortable in an evolving, fast-paced culture. This person will be an integral part of the People Operations team and will have various opportunities for professional HR development in our “all hands-on deck” environment!

Please note: we are open to a remote employee in a location where Anaplan is able to do business.

Your Impact

  • Provide first-level HR assistance to managers, employees, and former employees on policy-related questions and a variety of HR needs.

  • Provide daily support to HRBPs for internal client needs, projects, processes, trainings, etc.

  • Input and handle accurate employee data in Workday and other HR systems including new hire entry, job changes, pay rate changes, terminations, etc.

  • Manage HR tickets via ServiceNow case management.

  • Manage tasks for and support HR initiatives such as merit/performance cycle, reporting, etc.

  • Maintains detailed operating knowledge of processes, systems, and services offered by the HR team.

  • Quickly makes sound decisions around escalating open HR issues to HRBPs and functional management for timely resolution.

  • Experience handling confidential and/or sensitive information with attention to detail.

  • Perform any other functions as required by management.

  • Ensure that all HR policies and programs are compliant with the regulatory requirements, assist compliance and audit sample selection/validation.

  • Continually strive to improve all HR processes and programs and identify and implement new ones.

Your Qualifications

  • 2-3 years proven experience in HR field;

  • Experience with HR systems, specifically Workday. ServiceNow experience a bonus;

  • Strong familiarity with standard HR processes and procedures preferred;

  • Extensive Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint;

  • Ability to influence and manage change and deal effectively with change management initiatives;

  • University degree or combination of equivalent human resources work experience and education considered;

  • Demonstrated aptitude in handling confidential information;

  • Experience providing positive internal customer experience with effective oral and written communication skills, including but not limited to strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keen ability to make fast and accurate decisions;

  • Research, analytical, and critical thinking skills;

  • Highly adaptable and flexible with shifting priorities/processes.
