Your responsibilities will span across academic advising, admissions, student advocacy, program development, and administrative tasks crucial for ensuring student success and program effectiveness. Program Management and Administration: Manage and administer multiple student services specialties, including academic advising, career services, admissions, financial aid, and student advocacy. Oversee the development and maintenance of student-facing programs and services. Analyze outcomes, quality, and consistency of programs and provide recommendations for improvement. Handle administrative tasks related to graduate and/or undergraduate academic matters, such as registration, class schedules, and grades reporting. Ensure accurate maintenance of student records and compliance with college requirements. Student Support and Advising: Monitor student progress toward degree completion and provide advisory support as needed. Assist in attracting prospective students by coordinating department admission processes and overseeing registration procedures. Address student life issues, provide support, and refer students to appropriate resources. Coordinate services and programs that promote academic success and student development. Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between departmental and college administrative offices, facilitating communication and collaboration. Communicate with students, faculty, and administrative staff to ensure effective program delivery and support. Organize special events and serve on departmental academic committees to contribute to the overall academic environment. The salary range for this position is $57,000-$61,000. This is a hybrid position. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree plus at least four years of relevant experience in student services or related field, or master's degree plus at least two years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to assess program outcomes and recommend improvements. Experience in academic advising, admissions, or related student services specialties. Proficiency in administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and coordinating events. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic academic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in relevant field Familiarity with university systems and processes related to student services. Experience in program development and management within a higher education setting.
