Floral Merchandiser

 Part-Time Position: Minimum of four shifts a month. Start times range from 6am-8am

Bachman’s Grocery division is looking to hire a part-time Floral Merchandiser. Candidates for the role should have a valid driver’s license and a passion for bringing displays to life with beautiful flowers and merchandise.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • In-store servicing, merchandising, and maintaining proper levels of perishable and hard goods inventory in assigned floral grocery stores.

  • Identify, remove, and transfer out old or non-saleable products.

  • Determine best-selling products and store trends for each store and make selections of products for delivery.

  • Load and deliver to stores and create visually pleasing displays.

  • Communicate the needs of the business to other business partners.

  • Clean, organize and maintain a neat orderly store environment consistent with department design. This includes care and maintenance of perishable & hard goods products.

  • Responsible for multiple locations per day and may involve multiple loads or long hours during peak.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position requires a valid Driver’s License and able to pass a background check

  • Ability to drive frequently in the metro area with a full-size van.

  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs. repeatedly and 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Able to work on your feet for the majority of shift.

  • The ability to work independently is required.

  • 1 or more years of Visual Merchandising experience.

  • Knowledge of blooming and green plants and cut flower care is preferred.

  • Comfortable using technology, i.e. tablets, and applications.
