Job Description: Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Finance Technology Manager in our Minneapolis office! This Financial Technology Manager will lead a high performing team responsible for collaborating with Ryan's IT on balancing and maintaining of the current financial technology environment with the more strategic demands of developing and implementing a financial technology roadmap. This individual will also optimize the potential of the existing financial technology environment while selectively identifying and implementing new technology with the goal of a simplified, scalable and sustainable operating model. Some things you can expect to do: Lead and manage the Financial Technology analyst team. Design, develop and implement a comprehensive financial technology plan balancing simplicity, scalability and sustainability. Partner with finance business, IT support and IT leaders on continuous process improvement and the development and implementation of standardized best practices. Collaborate with IT on the upgrading and testing process of existing software. Support business stability through ensuring documentation and backup personnel is in place to support critical functions. Keep current on the financial technology marketplace and proactively identify new technology that have the potential to simplify and add scalability to accounting processes and enhance the control environment. Maintain a finance IT plan and budget that supports the company's Strategic Business Plan. Manage financial technology vendor and service provider relationships and contracts. Job Requirements: 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, financial operations, leading technology initiatives and leading a team within a mid-sized to large organization. Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting. You will really stand out if you have: MBA and/or CPA (or similar equivalent). Strong analytical problem solving, strategic and innovative thinking skills. Strong mentorship and coaching skills. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language. Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Extensive project management skills and exposure to project-based work structures pulling teams from operational finance and IT teams. Curiosity to expand knowledge in current and emerging technology trends including AI, Automation, Analytics, etc. Eligibility: Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. Compensation: The annual base pay is $119,700 - $149,650. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
