Ameriprise Financial Digital Analytics Manager (R24_0000002294) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Digital Analytics Manager (That sits within the Marketing Strategy and Analytics team) will play a key role in managing a team of analysts in order to drive tangible business results by providing actionable insights and recommendations through the analysis of digital initiatives. This role will manage a team of 2-4 analysts. The ideal candidate will feel at ease integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, querying databases, conducting sophisticated quantitative analyses and presenting their findings as clear, actionable insights and recommendations that enable revenue growth, channel adoption and customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who is passionate about data and data visualization but also willing to roll up their sleeves and code their way through a developing database architecture as they also opine on that development. They must have strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand the business goals/needs and be committed to delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations. It will also be necessary to ensure up-front data and reporting requirements are communicated to development and technology teams to ultimately enable delivery of analytics and insights. Key Responsibilities Perform online reporting, collection and analysis of complex digital qualitative and quantitative metrics from multiple sources; administer the site analytic reporting system; manage the collection and synthesis of data from multiple sources. Troubleshoot day to day operations issues using tagging, javascript and html. Work closely with business partners to discover key findings regarding performance relative to competition and overall industry benchmarks; pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement in user experience and business results, incorporating company knowledge and industry knowledge and mathematical and technological expertise. Identify opportunities for deep-dive analyses that drive tangible business results. Present data in a clear and compelling way to communicate insights, tell a story, and influence strategy. Work closely with business partners to develop pre-project measurement plans, develop reporting business requirements, technical analytics tagging requirements, and produce post launch reports. Participate as a project team member in intra-departmental and cross-departmental projects. Responsible for one or more analytic tools owned by the analytics team. Is a subject matter expert for those tools and create a strategy for maximizing their benefits and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for improving the digital analytics team's internal operational processes. Help provide leadership on initiatives and manage contractors as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent with Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or other related field 5-7 years of digital analytics experience developing meaningful KPIs, Solution Design References (SDR), reporting, insights, and interpreting results 3+ years of leadership experience 3 years of experience managing A/B/Multivariate tests using Adobe Target, Salesforce Interaction Studio or similar tool Expert user of analytics data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI Expert in analytic storytelling and presentation, including PowerPoint and other presentation tools Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) 6+ years of experience conducting analyses of digital data using Adobe Analytics, Analysis Workspace, and DTM (Dynamic Tag Management) Demonstrated project management and organization skills Ability to work and thrive in collaborative work environment as well as independently to drive results Proven track record of driving Analytics into actionable business outcomes Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization Experience in financial services with knowledge of products, customers, transact on and interaction data, including source systems Demonstrated understanding of statistical analyses methodologies Knowledge of data quality practices Experience with standard relational databases (Teradata, DB2, Postgres) Working knowledge of AWS with ability to query using SQL or PySpark
