Diesel Mechanic

Monday - Friday - 3pm-12pm

Pay $25-40 DOE

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced 2nd shift diesel mechanic to join our team long-term. You will need to repair and fix large and heavy-duty diesel trucks. The more experience you have, the better. As this is an independent retail shop, you will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills on different trucks. This small semi-truck diesel repair shop has been serving the Twin Cities trucking industry for 40 years. Family-owned and operated, the team boasts over 150 years of combined diesel experience. The shop is an authorized OEM dealer for parts and repairs for Caterpillar, Detroit engines, Western Star Trucks, Crane Carrier Trucks, and Landoll Trailers. They are also the only dealer in Minnesota for Crane Carrier Trucks and Landoll Trailers. The shop currently employs 10-12 mechanics, many of whom excel in engine work, making it possible to bring in someone with at least 2 years of experience. As a retail shop, they fix a wide variety of issues rather than performing repetitive tasks typical in fleet shops.
