We are seeking someone to fill our Assistant Setup and Run Progressive Dies position. An ideal candidate will have had previous machine operating experience and will have worked in a metal stamping environment. This role will include running various punch presses throughout the shop, including progressive dies. Responsibilities: Set-up and operate straight side presses 60 tons and up, including servo presses. This will also include high-volume multi-out progressive tooling and feedlines. Perform operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions. Read and understand blueprints, routing sheets and/or work instructions to determine specifications. Measure completed work and use shop math to verify conformance to specifications. Maintain production efficiencies of 80% of greater once trained. Other duties as assigned.
