About the job: A Department Coordinator is responsible for performing office clerical support for providers in the academic department, while supporting the values of Service, Innovation, and Respect. Join our dynamic team as an in-person Department Coordinator at our Riverside, West Bank office! Job Duties: Works closely with supported providers to keep their calendars and schedules up to date. Coordinates written and verbal communication to support daily operations and events. Provides secretarial support including composing, editing, and disseminating correspondence from the providers supported. Communicates with patients, taking messages, scheduling appointments, assisting with records and referrals. Works closely with research, departmental, and clinical staff to best assist the providers supported. Plans complex meetings, arranges zoom meetings and organizes travel as requested. Other duties as assigned. Salary Range: $21.84 to $32.77; actual starting salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Anticipated salary range of $22.71 to $25.49hr. Qualifications All required qualifications must be documented on application materials Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED and four years of related office experience (training/education may be substituted for some of the years of experience. Excellent computer experience including MS Office programs and internet searches. Exhibits professionalism. Good decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and project management. Ability to multi-task and work as a team member in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use independent judgement and work independently. Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications: College education including good written and verbal communication knowledge. Basic internet research skills. 5+ years of Academic secretarial or administrative support experience including coordination of calendars, scheduling complex meetings and appointments and coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries. Ability to learn and master multiple computer applications with proficiency. Extensive familiarity with Microsoft, Office programs, Google Sheets, and various calendar applications. Knowledge of medical program and staff. Knowledge of corporate organization and divisions. Ability to work with all levels of management, employees, customers and patients.
