Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative within the Healthcare/NHS industry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is remote, offering flexibility for those located within MST and CST time zones. As a Customer Service Representative, your primary function will be to process customer applications, maintain accurate customer records, and resolve customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications and ensuring efficient handling of these processes.

• Maintaining precise records of customer credit.

• Act as a patient advocate, providing services to both internal and external customers involving the exchange of complex and sensitive information.

• Utilizing multiple monitors for data entry, maintaining phone etiquette and adhering to guidelines.

• Assisting other team members with daily paperwork load to resolve and/or document patient issues.

• Recognizing financial, medical, and legal risks based on data collected during customer interactions and following appropriate procedures.

• Utilizing systems to resolve customer needs such as appointments, authorizations, claims, invoices, eligibility, benefits, appeals.

• Translating oral information into concise and accurate written documentation as per guidelines.

• Meeting the performance goals established for the position in the areas of patient satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance.

• Meeting department standards for adherence metric, which is evaluated daily. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service and Data Entry

• Familiarity with Documentation processes and Procedures

• Experience in Training and Policy development

• Ability to Schedule Appointments and handle Invoicing tasks

• Commitment to Quality standards

• Knowledge of Workstation Support and Internet usage

• Understanding of Medical Coverage policies

• Strong Phone Presence and ability to perform Benefit Functions

• Experience in handling Paperwork and performing Ad Hoc Financial tasks

• Familiarity with Claim Administration procedures

• Proficiency in English and Spanish languages

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Regular and consistent Attendance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience in Interviewing processes

• Familiarity with HealthCare.gov and its functionalities

• No criminal record or felonious activities in the past.
