We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager with construction and/or real estate remodeling background to join our team on a part-time, contractual basis in the Minneapolis, MN area for approx 3 months. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a real estate rehabilitation. This includes managing project budgets, coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations, and resolving/troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3+ years background in real estate development and/or construction, excellent project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role will only require +/-15 hours of work weekly (during 1st shift, normal business hours). Administrative tasks can be completed remotely but it is required to be present at the job site occasionally during various stages of the project for meetings, walk-throughs and checking on project timelines and quality of work. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of commercial real estate projects from inception to completion.
Manage project budgets and timelines.
Coordinate with a variety of contractors and other project team members.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations as well as obtaining and time management of city permits.
Resolve issues and troubleshoot hurdles that may arise during the project.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders and leadership.
Prepare and present project updates and reports to senior leadership.
Negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
Conduct site inspections to ensure project progress and quality.
Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans.
