Are you looking for an Early Education role in a welcoming intergenerational childcare center?
Opened in 2020, the Pillars Child Care Center is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This Intergenerational Child Care Center is embeded in The Pillars of Prospect Park Senior Living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments.
We are looking for a early education child care teacher aide ! This position includes;
30 hours per two weeks. part-time
Afternoon hours (2:30-5:30PM)
Monday- Friday

Responsibilities/Job Description
Implementing developmentally age appropriate curriculum
Maintaining a child friendly and orderly classroom
Implementing effective guidance and support strategies
Coordinate and contribute to the teaching team
Supervises health, safety, and overall, wellbeing of children at all times
Participates in program areas such as intergeneration activities
Qualifications
Preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children and knowledge of early childhood development
