Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team operating in the Wholesale Distribution industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As part of the team, you will have a critical role in managing financial transactions, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving payment issues. This role provides a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify, classify, compute, record, and post accounts receivable data in daily financial transactions.

• Prepare, manage, and dispatch invoices to customers through various channels.

• Review credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply these modifications to corporate billing records.

• Process customer payments and apply credits to corresponding accounts.

• Collaborate with the sales team to manage customer accounts and rectify any discrepancies.

• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly recorded.

• Perform monthly closing activities and reconciliation of ledgers.

• Utilize Great Plains software to manage customer accounts and maintain financial transactions and records.

• Handle the processing of invoices and perform regular account reconciliations.

• Track and resolve outstanding payment issues. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC)

• Skills in Excel Formulas

• Prior experience in the Wholesale Distribution industry

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

• High level of integrity and dependability
