Description
We are offering contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the high-tech engineering industry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You will be working remotely to manage all aspects of the accounts payable process. This role involves the use of multiple software systems, including Oracle and Salesforce, and requires strong organizational skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos, and payments using Oracle
• Maintain vendor accounts and perform regular reconciliations
• Address any discrepancies in accounts, collaborating with the team via Salesforce to resolve them
• Provide support during the Month-End close process, including managing accruals and reconciliations
• Adhere to all financial regulations and company policies to maintain compliance
• Work with the team to optimize accounts payable workflows
• Utilize software systems such as Oracle, Salesforce, and Mac systems proficiently
• Carry out accounting functions and account coding accurately
• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations and auditing tasks
• Use ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in managing accounting tasks.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Coding is essential.
• Must be adept at using Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with Concur is a must.
• Possess expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is needed.
• Prior experience in Auditing is crucial.
• Expertise in Automated Clearing House (ACH) is desirable.
• Proficiency in using Oracle is required.
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
